Good skin care tips can keep your skin healthy and glowing for years to come. It can get really over whelming with the wide range of products available in the market in todays world. Each product has its own set of ingredients and claiming to be best for skin. When we are out we gaze at someone with perfect and flawless skin and set off to wonder, what do they do to get such glowing skin? What is the secret behind? Can I ever get such skin? Well the answer to these questions is Yes. But it requires you to be persistent towards your skin care. Here, are some tips that will come handy to wear the skin you have been longing for:

  1. Identify your skin type: There are several skin types namely, oily, dry, acne-prone and sensitive. One must be aware of the skin type they wear. If you are unaware you might end up using products or following tips which may have even adverse effect on your skin. Once you are well aware of the skin it is easy for you to set the correct skin care routine, get the effective products and follow the tips worthy fo you. Skin type also varies though the seasons and with age, so one must always try to keep up with the changing needs.

Stay moisturized:

If your skin type is dry, the best thing to do is to keep it moisturized. Applying moisturizer right after the shower helps to lock the moisture that you just absorbed. Moisturizing routines helps retain skin’s natural oils.

Eating Habits goes a long way:

Set aside all those expensive skin products you slather on your face, if you aren’t eating healthy you are not on the right skin care track. To get your skin glowing you must add greens like spinach to your lunch or dinner. They are high in oxidants which makes your skin blames free and radiant. Also, honey is a great addition to diet as it helps hydrate dry skin. Adding little Omega  fatty acids will help you in obtaining healthy glow and it may also reverse the damage caused by sun. They are commonly found in fish, fruits, vegetables and olive oil.

Say Yes to Vitamin A in Summers:

We all are well aware that direct exposure to sunlight damages skin, but are we aware that skin cancer is one of the most common dangers human race is facing these days. The solution is simple, regular application of sunscreen. All dermatologists these days suggest to wear sunscreen in every season. So protect your skin by applying sunscreen with SPF30 or more. Also try using using SPF makeup, sunglasses, and broad-brimmed hats.

Stay Hydrated:

Drinking plenty of water has many benefits and one of them is better skin. Drinking at least 2 liters of water per day for skin care is no brainer. Not drinking enough water causes early aging and makes your skin look dull. You can also look for products with hyaluronic acid it helps bring it to a normal pH level.

Red bumps:

 Clean those Brushes:

Dirty makeup brushes may be causing your skin to break out. Clean those brushes every month using baby soap. Make sure you clean just the tips and not the handles.

 No Makeup on bed:

Make sure you remove makeup before going to bed. No matter how tired you are, its a must do. Sleeping with make up causes clogging of pores and leading to bacterial infestation.

Avoid too many products:

Using too many or too much of products isn’t advised. Use the right amount is a must. Excessive usage can clog those pores and cause break outs.

  • Eye Cream: Skin around the eyes are very delicate and is prone to damage. Regular application of eye cream will ensure laxity and smoothness of the skin.
  • Spot Removal: If you have any prescribed cream for acne spots, apply them as directed.
